From the streets of Paris, to the valleys of the Himalayas or the townships of South Africa, photography is my way of discovering the world, getting closer to things unseen, building trust and then capturing a moment of life in pursuit of sincerity, beauty and story telling.
I bought my first camera in New York City, after I thought I had been mugged on 42nd street on my way back from the shop... Years later, I realised that I had managed to exit this much uncomfortable confrontation by getting to know this "new" friend, accepting to have a portrait taken… These moments provided me with the passion of capturing people and cultures, being ancient, marginalized or threatened. Human condition is challenged by the present systems of things and their normality becomes a refuge for uniqueness, purity and depth.
My aim is always to capture the human element and overall, my work is about the "Little People", that we all are.
I exclusively make photographs that are film based, not manipulated and offer a full frame in its entirety. Greater exposure to professionals, stabilisation of confidence levels, key steps towards the profession... will enable the fulfillment of my work.
In addition, I would like to welcome orders on analogue prints based on limited edition and study any business projects with you. I thank you for your orders, which will be handled with the utmost care.
